Coronavirus pandemic: Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray announces shut down of cinema halls from 14th March | Hindi Movie News – Bollywood – Times of India

The World Health Organisation has declared Coronavirus as Pandemic and the virus is massively impacting the businesses across the world which also includes Bollywood industry. And in the latest development, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray announced the health scare. The state has till date seen over 15 positive cases of COVID 19. In his tweet Thackeray wrote, ‘Public swimming pools, gyms, and cinema halls across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Nagpur, Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad, will remain closed until further notice.’ This decision is effective from 14th March. Earlier, the release date of Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Sooryavanshi’ also got postponed due to this epidemic. Not only this, Salman Khan cancelled the international schedule of ‘Radhe’ due to the same.
